MULTAN: Punjab Minister for Energy Dr Akhtar Malik inaugurated an enrollment campaign by registering fresh admissions at the Pilot High School on Tuesday. The minister said that the Punjab government had taken special initiative to increase enrollment rate in schools.
He said that the enrollment campaign had been launched in all districts in the province. He said that the enrollment campaign would ensure admission of every student in schools. Dr Akhtar Malik asked the parents to ensure their children enroll as the government was providing free education to each student.
Deputy Commissioner Mudassar Riaz Malik said that the City District Administration had planned to enroll 450,000 students in schools. All the facilities had been provided in schools to make them model institutions. He told that the Punjab government was making efforts to upgrade perks of teachers. MPA Nadeem Qureshi, Education CEO Shamsher Khan and others were also present.
