Partly cloudy forecast

LAHORE: Partly cloudy weather was observed in the City with trace rain at scattered places here on Monday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.

Met officials said that continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. They predicted that mainly dry weather is expected in most parts while cold in northern areas of the country. Rainfall was recorded at several cities, including Barkhan, Kalat, Khuzdar, Quetta, Bagrote, Astore, Sukkur, Rohri, Jacobabad and Dera Ghazi Khan. Met officials added that Monday’s minimum temperature was recorded at Kalam where mercury dropped down to -04°C while in Lahore, it was 14°C and maximum was 28.7°C.
