ISLAMABAD: The government has given an additional salary of Rs10 million to the officers of Prime Minister House for making good arrangements over the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has approved giving the prize amount to grade 19 and 20 officers.
A total of Rs9, 332, 695 is reported to have been awarded to the PM House officers.
Moreover, the employees and officers of grade 1-18 have been given Rs912, 625 as honorary salary after the approval of principal secretary. The application to award Rs230, 070 to grade 19 and 20 officers has been sent to Saudi ECC as well. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Pakistan on a two day visit in February.
The visit was termed successful as the Saudi crown prince signed agreements of heavy investments in Pakistan. Not only that, he also showed many goodwill gestures towards Pakistan as well. The Saudi crown prince was given royal protocol during his visit.
