JI leaders condemn attack
LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer Senator Sirajul-Haq, acting JI Chief Liaqat Baloch and other central leaders have condemned firing on eminent religious scholar Maulana Taqi Usmani, and the martyrdom of two Ulema in Karachi, and expressed grief over the tragic incident.
Liaqat Baloch, in his statement said the martyrdom of two Ulema of the Jamea Darul-Uloom, Karachi was a big tragedy. He called upon the government to apprehend the master mind behind terrorist attack and adopt necessary measures for the security of the Ulema. He said the elements involved in the incident were terrorists and agents of the enemies of humanity and Islam.
He said the tragedy of New Zealand was still fresh when the enemy had struck again. Liaqat said the government was active for the implementation of the NAP and questions were being raised about the mosques and Madrissahs. He said it was the practice of the secular forces to create such an atmosphere.
