This is to draw the attention of the motorway authorities to the poor and pathetic condition of the N55 Peshawar–Dera Ismail Khan Road also called the Indus Highway. Last weekend, I had to travel on this road due to some personal engagement.
While travelling, I observed that overloaded trucks carrying luggage from Karachi to Peshawar have disturbed the traffic flow on to this road. The highway authorities must expedite the construction to widen the road. It is a big source of income for the government (toll tax) as well as the only road for people from KP to travel to Karachi.
