Clean capital

The CDA is responsible for the upkeep of Islamabad. But it is a bitter truth that the authority has miserably failed to deliver. Despite Imran Khan’s tall claims, the capital’s garbage crisis cannot be resolved. Heaps of garbage are scattered all over the streets. Discard plastic bags are clogging the drains.

The janitorial staff is rarely seen on the roads. The relevant authorities need to keep a strict check on the working of the waste collection companies and direct them to perform their duties in an effective manner.
