PESHAWAR: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Youth Wing, Peshawar chapter, has announced to organise a youth convention on ‘Tahaffuz-e-Pakistan’ in Peshawar on March 23 to express solidarity with armed forces.
This was announced by the JI Youth wing district president, Noor Ghulam Afridi, at a news conference in the presence of district general secretary, Sirajul Haq, senior vice president Irfan Paracha, vice president Haji Abid and others.
The JI youth leaders said that the JI provincial ameer, Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, district ameer Ateequr Rehman, JI Youth Wing central president Zubair Ahmad Gondal, JI Youth KP president Siddiqur Rehman Paracha and other provincial and districts leaders would address the convention.
Ghulam Afridi said youth were future of the country, but it was unfortunate that no steps were taken for their betterment by the successive governments. He said that a roadmap would be announced for youth at the convention.
The JI youth leader said the degree holders’ youth were faced with numerous issues, such as unemployment and price-hike. He vowed to raise youth problems in Parliament and other relevant forums.
He asked the JI youth workers to unite and mobilize youth in district Peshawar for implementation of Islamic and progressive Pakistan agenda.
