DIR: The main Dir-Kohistan road remained closed to traffic for more than 10 hours on Thursday due to a landslide at Dodba bypass.
The landslide occurred near the Dodba bypass road at night, blocking the main Dir-Kohistan road to traffic for almost 10 hours.
The road closure caused immense trouble to the passengers, including students, teachers and employees of the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Sheringal.
The residents of various areas of Kohistan valley including Thal, Kalkot, Byar, Patrak and Sheringal had to wait for hours to clear the road.
The district has received heavy snowfall and rains recently due to which landslides occur at various places.
