March 15, 2019

Islamabad: Central Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Senator Sirajul Haq will address workers convention at Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi on 31st of this month as a part of party's countrywide mass contact campaign. This was stated by JI North Punjab ameer Dr. Tariq Saleem while addressing a press conference here.

Nasarullah Randhawa, JI Islamabad ameer, Information coordinator Shahid Shamsi, Sajjad Abbasi and Rashid Aulakh were also present on the occasion. Dr. Tariq said that Thafaz-e-Pakistan convention in Rawalpindi would also mark end of month long mass contact drive, which commenced on March 1.

During the campaign, the JI leaders and workers will reach five million houses across the country to convey message of Holy Quraan and Sunnah and programme of the party, which is aimed at giving people a society based on justice. He regretted that the present government had not only failed in fulfilling promises made with masses but also made the living difficult for them with record price hike.

Nasarullah Ranndhawa said that so far 40,000 houses have been covered during the mass contact campaign while target of 150,000 houses will be met by end of this month. He informed newsmen that as per decision taken by JI Shoora, the party would contest next local bodies and general elections under its own election symbol.
