DC visits exam centers

Rawalpindi : The Deputy Commissioner, Rawalpindi Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa made surprise visits to different examination centers to check cheating among students on Thursday.

He also checked security arrangements all around examination centers and directed police officials to keep an eye on suspected persons. The Chief Officer (Education) Qazi Zahoor was also with Deputy Commissioner during the visits.

The DC said that he has directed assistant commissioners to visit examination centers and make the examinations transparent. He directed police officials to immediately arrest people involved in providing cheating materials to students. He said a special cell has been establish to receive complaints about examination centres. Action on the complaints would be taken immediately, he assured. He also said that surprise visits would be continued in coming days. Thousands of students have appeared in SSC (Part I and II) annual examinations.
