Although tensions between India and Pakistan have somewhat deescalated and the ambassadors of the two countries have resumed their duties, the clouds of doubts and suspicions still hover over the border. There is an old saying that one becomes more insecure when he presumes himself to be well-guarded.
We need to be well-prepared and alert to face any internal or external threat that can hurt our beloved country. All politicians ought to shun their past animosities and present differences, and stand like a rock to show unity in the national interests.
