KARACHI: Leggie Fawad Ahmed who got injured during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) qualifier between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi on Wednesday was feeling better and would play the final on Sunday, an official of his franchise said.“Yes, he underwent a gum surgery today at the Aga Khan Hospital and is now okay. He will play the final,” the official told ‘The News’. Fawad, an Australian leg-spinner of Pakistan origin, was hit in the face by a returning drive from Pakistan’s Test opener Imam-ul-Haq, which broke one of his teeth.
