MANSEHRA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member Provincial Assembly Babar Saleem Swati has said that work on a potable water supply scheme with the financial assistance of Saudi Arabia will be launched soon.
“The chief minister has given approval to a potable water supply scheme, which will be executed with over Rs5 billion financial assistance of Saudi Arabia,” Swati told a gathering of local government representatives here on Wednesday.
District Police Officer Zaibullah Khan, president of Nazimeen Ittehad Mohammad Fareed and general secretary Basharat Ali Swati were also in attendance.
Babar Saleem Swati said that people were facing scarcity of potable water for the last almost three decades but successive governments ignored it and now PTI government was about to launch the mega water supply scheme.
