Living standard of coal miners’ kids checked

CHAKWAL: A delegation of the German parliamentarians and the German ambassador in Pakistan on Tuesday visited Dalwal village to check living standard of the children of coal miners.
The visit was arranged by a local NGO while DO Social Welfare Raja Tanveer, Raja Sajid and Anwar Ahmed were also present. The delegation was welcomed by the children of coal miners. A documentary regarding the living standard of the children of coal miners were also presented and the problems being faced by the children were highlighted. The delegation also asked various questions from the children. The delegation members also visited coal mines at the Salt Range area.
