PBC employees deprived of retirement dues

SUKKUR: The pensioners of the Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation are suffering since 2017 following non payment of the amount commuted from their pension putting them into a severe financial hardship. The victims said they were supposed to get their dues within three months following retirement but that has not happened. The PBC sources cite financial crisis as the reason for failure to pay the dues to pensioners. The retired PBC employees have made countless appeals to the prime minister, Ministry of Information and the finance department but no one seems to be paying attention to their miseries.
