Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has termed the arrest and handcuffing of ANP leader and prominent political leader of KPK Mian Iftikhar Hussain highly regrettable and improper.
Talking to Ghulam Ahmad Billaur on telephone in this regard, Ch Shujat Hussain said that Mian Iftikhar Hussain was a gentleman political figure. First he was involved in a murder case by deviating from the provincial traditions and then he was handcuffed also. He said how it was possible that Mian Iftikhar Hussain ordered the killing of a political worker.
law, order: Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi said the rulers were engaged in corruption brushing aside their duty to control law and order in the country.
Condemning the murder of MPA and former Provincial Minister Rana Shamshad Ahmad, his son and nephew in a statement issued on Monday, Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that Rana Shamshad was a good man for whom we were grieved. He added that Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif were not concerned about anybody’s security except their own security so people, including MPAs, were living miserably.
He said the PML-Q government from 2002 to 2007 was the tenure of peace for the people so the rulers should immediately accept their incapability and failure to control the law and order.
He said the N-League was facing acute shortage of capable and efficient people as it had reappointed a person who had been sacked due to inefficiency.
