Islamabad: The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Trainings put up the Departmental Selection Board's meeting at the eleventh hour to the dismay of the employees awaiting promotion to BPS-19 for a long time.
The DSB was slated to hold the long-awaited meeting on Wednesday to decide the promotion cases of the ministry's BPS-18 employees and those of attached departments and subordinate offices, including teachers.
The meeting will now take place on February 27. The rescheduling of the meeting hasn't happened for the first time.
The board was originally planned to meet on February 14 but the meeting was put off until February 20.
