Karachi is a metropolitan city and a commercial hub of Pakistan. But the city’s public transport system is in a dismal condition. It seems that the buses that ply on the city’s roads haven’t been repaired for the last 20 to 30 years.
Old buses which are a leading cause of increasing air pollution in the city are running across the city. We need a fuel-efficient transportation system in Karachi. The chief minister of Sindh ought to do a lot more to resolve the problem.
