Fast varsity competition gets under way
PESHAWAR: A diverse spectrum of audience ranging from corporate dignitaries, academics to alumni and their parents were present at the inauguration ceremony of Fast National University Technology Competition (NUTEC-19).
The theme was “Germinating entrepreneurial spirit through fair play,” said a press release.
The event attracts and nurtures talent from across the country by allowing the opportunity to compete in the domains of Computer Sciences, engineering, business, sports and social events under the platform of FAST University Peshawar Campus.
Director of the Campus Professor Dr Muhammad Tariq apprised the audience of the efforts put in to make this year event a memorable platform for the participants. While explaining the
theme “Germinating entrepreneurial spirit through fair play” he said it is an effort to realign the image of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and to revive the sociocultural values of the region.

The chief guest at the inauguration ceremony was Kamran Bangash, Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Technology, who was accompanied by Heads of KPIT Board, FF Steel, Jang Media Group and vice-chancellors from various universities.
