CDA cracks down on encroachments

Islamabad : The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Friday launched crackdown on encroachments along the I J Principal Road to clear Right of Way (RoW) of the road.
The belated operation against encroachments along I J Principal Road was carried out on directives of the CDA Chairman Aamer Ali Ahmed who took charge of the office only the last month.
The enforcement wing conducted operations in Meharabad area of IJP Road and demolished several illegal construction and structures from the vicinity. During the operation conducted on Friday, Enforcement Directorate demolished 30 rooms, six sheds, five spare-parts shops and one spare-parts shed.
