The newly-elected members of the Academic Staff Association (ASA) of International Islamic University (IIU), Islamabad, were sworn in during a special ceremony on male campus of the university here.
IIUI President Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh administrated the oath to the newly-elected ASA members.
Dr. Zafar Iqbal was elected ASA President, Dr. Nyla Jabeen ASA Vice President (female), Dr. Muhammad Akram Vice President (male), Dr. Husnain Naqvi Secretary General, Dr. Fozia Janjua Joint Secretary (Female), Ataullah Khan Wattoo Joint Secretary (Male), Haseeb Sajjad Secretary Finance and Engr. Nizar Ali information secretary.
The oath taking ceremony was also attended by Vice President Higher Studies and Research Dr. Tahir Mansoori.
