PESHAWAR: An arrested terrorist on Thursday confessed his involvement in the suicide attack on Judicial Complex, Peshawar, before the anti-terrorism court. Four persons were killed and 47 others, including two female lawyers, were injured in a suicide attack on the Judicial Complex Peshawar on March 18, 2013.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Kalsoom Azam had narrowly escaped a suicide attack as one of the suicide bombers had blown up himself inside the courtroom and the second was gunned down by police before reaching the target.
The Counter-Terrorism Department police produced the suspected terrorist Abdul Ghafoor alias Ahmad before the anti-terrorism court. The accused recorded his confessional statement before the court and accepted his involvement in the suicide attack on Judicial Complex.
