Out of 99 companies traded, the value of 23 shares increased, five companies suffered losses and there was no change in the value of 71 shares.
Trading volume was 0.63 million shares, which were lower than the trading volumes of 0.62million shares recorded in the last trading day. Bank of Punjab Limited was the volume leader with a turnover of 155,500 shares.
Cherat Cement Company Limited was the top gainer, adding Rs3.37 in its share value.
