Lahore: METRO Cash & Carry Pakistan in coordination with the Punjab Government has initiated its Dengue awareness program aimed to the surrounding areas of its Model Town store. The awareness campaign, part of METRO Cash & Carry’s Sustainable initiatives, was launched in presence of Government functionaries dignitaries, Habib-METRO management, their employees, customers, and the general public at METRO Cash &Carry Model Town Link road Store.
The event was graced by Khawaja Salman Rafique, Advisor to the CM Punjab on Health, Dr. Islam Zafar, DirectorDengue Control Programme, Pervaiz Akhtar, Director Corporate Affairs & Company Secretary, METRO Cash & Carry Pakistan, Zafar Iqbal Sobani, Managing Director Habib-METRO Pakistan and Muhammad Amin, Store Manager Model Town, METRO Cash & Carry Pakistan among others.
Khawaja Salman Rafique, Advisor to the CM, said “Spread of Dengue in Punjab, particularly in Lahore, has been epidemic in the past, but has been put under control by the tireless efforts of Dengue Control initiative and the timely steps taken by the Punjab Government.
