The Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) on Monday seized a large quantity of liquor from the Coastal Highway near Badoke, Balochistan; 4,152 bottles of liquor and 20,658 cans of beer were recovered from 26 bags lying abandoned.
According to details provided by the coast guards, a patrol unit was ordered to set off on a search after they had received information regarding drug paddlers smuggling huge quantity of liquor from the area.
They claimed the consignment was to be transported to Karachi. Approximate value of the seized items in the market was stated to be around Rs17 million.

The anti-smuggling cell of the Customs Intelligence seized 38kgs of hashish and 20kgs of opium from the Karachi Fish Harbour on Monday.
Intelligence officer, Haji Aslam, while speaking to The News informed that a team to carry out a search was set up after they were informed of smugglers were sneaking out drugs via sea. The drugs were recovered by the customs officers from a Surf Jeep, bearing number BC-5031. The approximate value of the drugs was stated to be Rs30 million.
