Burney gives list of Pakistanis stranded in Libya to MOFA

KARACHI: The Chairman of the Ansar Burney Trust International on Saturday provided to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs a list of 330 Pakistanis, including women and children, still stranded in war-torn Sirte, Libya, under most worst and critical situation.
Ansar Burney requested Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Zakaullah, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Commander of Pakistan Navy at Karachi, Vice Admiral Syed Arifullah Hussaini to save precious lives of 330 Pakistanis by evacuating them from Sirte, by sending a Ship to Sirte Seaport as soon as possible.
The list that was provided to the Foreign Ministry by the Ansar Burney Trust International included all names of 330 stranded Pakistanis in Sirte with details of their passports, nationality, contact and families in Pakistan. They are living in Sirte under worst conditions, with life threats and waiting anxiously to come back home to Pakistan.
He said since air flights and Airports are closed in Sirte so the only possible way to evacuate Pakistanis safely is Sirte Seaport while sending Ship from Pakistan.
