THE Lahore Press Club Governing Body arranged a special Diabetes Camp for the members of the club on Sunday with the help of Diabetic Wellness Centre.
The camp was set up on the Lahore Press Club premises where Head of the Diabetes Wellness Centre Dr Fauzia Moeen advised the members regarding healthy practices to prevent and control diabetes. The members were free-of-cost tested and were given free medical consultancy. Medical Specialist Dr Khawar Abbas Chaudhry also participated in the camp as a consultant. The members were given the facility to free testing of glucose level, cholesterol, uric acid, BMI and HB A1C. The Lahore Press Club President Arshad Ansari and Secretary Afzal Talib while speaking on the occasion said that such activities were important and they would continue to arrange such camps in future.
