KOHAT: The pilot of a military helicopter (MI-17) and the member of the ground crew sustained injuries in an accident at the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Base here on Saturday, official sources said.
The sources said that the helicopter landed at the PAF base after coming from an operational area, but it rear-ended a container while the aircraft was being parked.
The helicopter was partially damaged while its pilot Major Waqas and a crewmember sustained minor injuries. The sources said the injured were immediately taken to a hospital and the runway was cleared.
