LAHORE
A 45-year-old unidentified man was found dead in the Sanda police limits on Monday.
Police have removed the body to morgue for autopsy.
Police reached the place on information. They rushed the man to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced him as brought dead. Police also collected forensic evidences from the crime scene and registered the statements of the eye-witnesses.
Police told the media that he might have died due to excessive use of drugs. However, autopsy will help ascertain the cause of death.
Police are searching for the family of the deceased.
Woman dies: A 45-year-old unidentified woman, who was found in an unconscious condition two days before in Sanda police limits, passed away in a hospital on Monday.
Police removed the body to morgue for autopsy. A passerby spotted the woman lying unconscious near New Khan Adda and informed the police and Rescue 1122. They reached the incident place on information and admitted her to the Mian Munshi Hospital. She remained under treatment in the hospital but could not survive.
Police are searching for the family of the deceased.
Accidents: At least 680 road traffic accidents were reported in Rescue 1122’s Provincial Monitoring Cell in all 36 districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours; in which seven lives were lost and 561 seriously injured were shifted to different hospitals of relevant district. However, some 269 minor injured were provided first aid by Rescue 1122 on the spot.
