Shujaat thanks China for awarding Mushahid

LAHORE
Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has expressed his pleasure at conferment of “Five Principles of Peaceful Co-Existence Friendship Award” on his party’s secretary general Mushahid Hussain Sayed and termed it a reflection of close and deep contacts between the PML-Q and China.
Felicitating Mushahid Hussain on behalf of his party, he expressed gratitude to President Xi Jinping, Chinese government and the Communist Party for honouring Mushahid Hussain with the Chinese award.
He said the friendship between China and Pakistan is of historical importance and its strength and depth has been proven in all testing times.
He announced that the party would host a grand function in honour of Mushahid Hussain on being the first recipient of the great award.
Shujaat said the nation was happy at the visit of the Chinese president. He said he and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi put forth suggestions for closer contacts between the two countries particularly the youth which the Chinese president had greatly appreciated.
