An unidentified man was shot dead in the Shah Baig Lane area of Lyari on Tuesday night
Baghdadi SHO Rao Shabbir said a passer-by was injured in cross-firing between the Baba Ladla and Jhengu groups.
The gangsters escaped when police reached the scene. The injured man was shifted to the Civil hospital where he expired.

‘Robber’ killed
A suspected robber was shot dead near the KMC Compound in Saeedabad at night.
SHO Rafaqat Ali said police reached the scene and found a man lying dead. Witnesses told them that he was a robber trying to mug a person in a car. That person shot him with his pistol and left. The dead robber also had an accomplice who escaped.
