Two die of Congo virus in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Two patients died of Congo virus at the Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) on Saturday, said the hospital administration.
According to the HMC administration, ?patient Abdul Khaliq, 45, was brought to the hospital on August 28 and was provided all available services to save his life.
He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the tertiary care hospital and remained under constant observation of the doctors, said the hospital authorities. However, the patient, a resident of Gulberg locality in the provincial capital, died ?on August 30. According to sources, another patient, hailing from Afghanistan, also died of Congo virus.
