A sane decision

Thankfully, better sense has prevailed. The unanimous parliamentary resolution calls upon the government to try to resolve the Yemen conflict diplomatically. It was a hard choice keeping in view our close ties with Saudi Arabia. The credit for taking this sane decision goes to our political leadership.
We are passing through a critical phase of our history. Our military is fighting against non-state actors on several fronts. We cannot afford to send our troops to fight someone else’s war.
