Woman tortured

DASKA: A woman was tortured in the city area on Tuesday. The sister of Abid Hanif was present at her home when accused Abdul Waheed and his accomplices came and tortured and broke the bone of her nose. She was shifted to the Civil Hospital.

MAN DEPRIVED OF CASH, BIKE: A man was deprived of cash and his motorcycle in the area of Motra police on Tuesday. Qasim Shahzad was heading to Daska and near Jamkey village he was intercepted by two bandits who snatched Rs 5,000, a cell phone and his motorcycle.

COUPLE INJURED IN ROAD ACCIDENT: A man and his wife sustained injuries in a road accident in the area of Bombanwala police on Tuesday. Zeeshan and his wife were heading towards Gujranwala and near Golathian village a speeding van hit them. As a result, they sustained injuries and were shifted to the Civil Hospital.
