The polio curse

According to media reports, the National Institute of Health confirmed a new case of polio in Peshawar that brought the total number of cases to 21 this year. This is very unfortunate.
Despite the best efforts of the government, more and more children are falling victim of this debilitating disease. It is reported that some parents have refused to administer polio drops to their children. The government should launch a drive to educate people about the life-long effects of this crippling disease.
