About 80 percent of all motorcycle crashes result in injuries or death. It is a common practice in Pakistan that more than two people ride a motorcycle. Many motorcyclists do not wear helmets, and elbow and knee guards.
The traffic police should deal according to the law with such drivers and ensure that they wear helmets. It would be good if manufacturers of motorcycles in our country give helmet, elbow and knee guards to their customers. This will save precious lives.
