Dasu dam victims

The people of Kohistan felt ignored when Wapda allotted jobs at the Dasu Hydropower project to people from Punjab and Sindh. The local people vented their anger by blocking the Karakoram Highway but to no avail.
At least those who surrendered their ancestral land for the dam deserve the first right to the jobs (if the job in question is not highly technical). The federal and provincial governments and Wapda authorities are requested to accommodate local people in the running of the dam.
