The celebration of the 6th anniversary of the Campus Radio FM 96.6 started at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) on Wednesday showing with the “handmade poster and card competition” held at Mass Communication Department.
Congratulating the winners and participants, Dr. Anjum Zia, Head of Mass Communication Department, said “Winning is not important but the spirit of participation”.
According to a press release issued on Wednesday, judges chose the best three from both categories and also announced a consolation prize.
Ayesha Siddiqua, lecturer of Fine Arts Department, announced results. Horiya Khursheed, KinzaAamir and Sonia Gulzar got 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in the handmade poster competition respectively. Ramsha Batool, Mahrukh Ehsan and Aima Idress got 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in the handmade card competition respectively.
The prize distribution ceremony will be held tomorrow (3rd of April 2015). Three judges Ayesha Noor (creative director of Private Agency), Ayesha Siddiqua, and Dr. Anjum Zia appreciated the amazing work of participants. Concluding the event, Dr. Anjum Zia conveyed her thanks to judges and participants from the university.
