More is expected in the city as a fresh westerly wave is affecting the upper and centrally covering majority of the country with clouds.
Rain thundershower associated with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in the provincial metropolis, Islamabad, Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, DG Khan, Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur divisions), KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, divisions), Quetta, Zhob, Kalat ,Sibbi, Nasirabad divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan while at isolated places in Sargodha, DI Khan, Bannu divisions. Isolated heavy falls with hailstorm are also expected in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Islamabad, Rawalpindi divisions and Kashmir during this period. The maximum temperature in the city on Wednesday was 24 degree Celsius while the minimum was 17. The maximum in the country was 41 at Shaheed Benazir-Abad. Parts of the country where it rained were Lower Dir 77 mm, Murree 52, Balakot 51, Rawalakot 50, Pattan 46, Parachinar, Malam Jabba 41, Kalam, Kakul 38, Joharabad, Kohat, Dir 37, Cherat 35, Saidu Sharif 31, Chakwal, Sialkot(A.P) 29, Muzaffarabad, Gari Dupatta, Sialkot(Cantt)27, MB Din, Gujrat 24, Mangla, Kotli 20, Peshawar(AP), Jhelum 19, Peshawar (CITY) 18, Mirkhani, Gujranwala 15, Sargodha 12, Drosh 11, Risalpur 9, Chitral 7, Quetta(SM), Quetta(PBO)04, Bhakkar, DI Khan and Bannu 2mm.
