New Zealand succumbed to the Australian pace attack in the World Cup final. Thereafter, it was a one-sided affair. Likewise, India surrendered to Australia too.
When we see the picture holistically, one can realise that Pakistan did reasonably well apart from its initial two matches. We gone into the quarter finals without our ace bowler Mohammad Irfan and there were grave fielding lapses. While criticising our team and management we should not ignore our domestic conditions. Anyhow the best team has been crowned at last. The ICC deserves kudos for holding such a mega event so professionally.
