FAISALABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has expanded its next-generation CharJi EVO wireless broadband service to Faisalabad, a press release from the company said on Tuesday.
Launched last August, CharJi EVO is Pakistan’s fastest wireless broadband service, providing connectivity at 36 Mbps, it said.
The president of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce, Rizwan Ashraf, was the chief guest at the launch. Members of the business community, government officials, and representatives of Faisalabad’s IT and education sectors were among those who attended the event, according to the press release.
