The Sindh government on Monday made quite a few changes in the police department by issuing orders for the reshuffling zonal DIGs.
In a notification issued late Monday night, DIG Training Dr Jamil Ahmed was posted as DIG South Zone while the DIG South Abdul Khaliq Shaikh was sent to Services General Administration and Coordination Department (SGA&CD). DIG Administration Javed A Odho was posted as DIG Mirpurkhas Range and DIG Mirpurkhas Dr Kamran Fazal was posted as DIG Sukkur Range.
DIG West Capt (retd) M Tahir Naveed was also asked to report to SGA&CD while a Feroz Shah awaits posting in the West Zone. Sources in the police department said more transfers were expected in the near future.
