That Naeemul Haq, a PTI leader, slapped Daniyal Aziz from the PML-N on live television was both deplorable and shameful. Our so-called leaders and their lack of self discipline offer a glimpse of where we will be heading during the 100 days to the 2018 elections. The rising political temperature may result in the collapse of the system. It is our actions that lead to such crises. We have been witnessing such immature acts for many years now. Our politicians are not ready to learn from history and are bent on destroying it.
We do not require external enemies when we have so many internal differences. Exemplary punishment needs to be awarded to such politicians who can become threat to the system. Before we enter election mode, all politicians need to jointly chalk out a code of conduct for fair politics.
