TSH announces blocking Hazara division after Eid
MANSEHRA: Tehreek-e-Sooba Hazara (TSH) has announced blocking Hazara Division after Eidul Fitr to lodge a protest against the PML-N for not honouring the commitment to create more federating units in the country.
“Nawaz Sharif during his election campaign had announced that if people voted him into power, he would give Hazara the status of a province but he didn’t fulfill his commitment,” Mushtaq Khan, the convener TSH told reporters here on Monday. Flanked by other office-bearers, he said that the recent convention held here at press club was an eye-opener for PML-N government.
“If the PTI can indulge in agreement for more federating units in the country then why the PML-N which announced to create more provinces in the country is hesitant to fulfill its commitments with people of Hazara,” he questioned.
The convener said that committees were reactivated from Kohistan to Haripur for the proposed agitation,” he added. He claimed that people across the country wanted creation of more federating units on administration basis but the PML-N government creating hurdles in its way.
