Provincial Minister for Labour and Human Resource, Raja Ashfaq Sarwar has said the role of lawyers is laudable for providing prompt and cheap justice to poor people of south Punjab.
The government is utilizing all out resources for resolving problems of lawyers and proving best facilities to them for discharging their duties, he added.
He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of lawyers which met him under the leadership of President Dera Ghazi Khan Bar Association Saleem Raza Kakar at his office, here Friday. General Secretary of DG Khan Bar Association Saleem Khan Khosa, Member of the Bar Arif Gormani and Raja Jehanzeb Advocate were included in the delegation.
Raja Ashfaq Sarwar said that DG Khan Bar Association is playing its active role for resolving the problems of the lawyers and protection of their rights.
He said that lawyers have rendered invaluable sacrifices for the promotion of democratic values and provision of justice to the people without caring any pressure during every rule. He expressed the hope that DG Khan Bar Association will continue its efforts for providing rights to labourers and industrial workers, saving them against exploitation and ensuring immediate justice to them.
