Islamabad: The three-day Dream Home Expo continued here at the Pakistan-China Friendship Centre for the second day on Saturday with both stall holders and visitors finding it to be beneficial.
Compared with the first day of the event organised by the Jang Media Group, larger crowds of people turned up.
At the stalls totalling around 150, the visitors asked the representatives of leading builders, developers and property dealers about their previous, current and future projects, and sought guidance on the available house building and real estate investment options.
The representatives responded to their queries, offered them attractive packages to suit their needs and pockets, and even booked plots, houses and apartments.
Farrukh Ahmad of the Zameen.Com, the leading real estate portal, welcomed the holding of the expo and said it would highlight the immense potential of the country’s real estate sector.
He said the event helped his organisation market its products and services and hoped that more and more such events would happen to the benefit of all concerned.
Hina of the Al-Haram City and Rawat Enclave said the expo helped participants highlight initiatives, broaden clientele, and find growth opportunities, while the visitors explored investment opportunities.
She said the builders, developers and realtors offered huge discounts on their products and services during the expo that were normally not available and thus, benefiting all those either wanting to build houses or invest money in the real estate.
Most visitors showed interest in developing own houses using savings and called for low-cost housing schemes for low-income groups.
They welcomed the Jang Group’s initiative and said they consulted stallholders on property buying, building and décor, and got good response.
Warda Tariq of the organising committee said the expo was meant to bring builders, developers, realtors and people from allied industries under one roof first to help them showcase their products and services and second to provide the people with the best possible housing and investment options.
She said builders and developers participating in the event offered from 30 per cent to 50 per cent discount in their projects to benefit those wanting to own house.
“Mostly we’ve people from the region but at the same time, builders, developers and realtors from Lahore, UAE, Turkey and Cyprus have put up stalls here turning the expo into an international event,” she said.
The organising committee’s member said she strongly felt that the event would not only help the real estate industry grow but would also promote Pakistan’s image as a vibrant, investment-friendly country.
