The guests were of the opinion that the efforts to corner ruling Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) are underway but at the same time people at large are not prepared to give up their support for the PML-N and its leader.
Contrary to that the bond of masses with Nawaz Sharif is getting strength to strength. The outcome of the trial of Nawaz Sharif in a disputed case was also subject of discussion among the guests. Some diplomats also expressed concern about the state of health of former first lady and spouse of Nawaz Sharif, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz who is under treatment in London for her serious malignancy.
Former Federal Minster Dr. Shehzad Waseem of the PTI was insisting that Imran Khan under PTI will do wonders in the upcoming polls.
