Protest

LAHORE: Dozens of ad hoc employees of the Punjab University (PU) serving on contract basis staged a demonstration on Wednesday outside the Lahore Press Club and demanded the government and the university administration to regularise their services. They were carrying banners and placards that highlighted their plight. They said they had been serving the university on ad hoc basis for a long time now and their contracts in this regard were extended time to time.
