This refers to the letter ‘The trouble with troubleshooters’ (Apr 8) by Ashfaq Sharif. The writer had mentioned that his complaint was not addressed by the PTCL authorities. PTCL would like to clarify that the writer’s complaint was not registered through its helpline – 1218 – which is set up for resolving customer complaints. After the publication of his letter, the writer was contacted by the PTCL representative and his complaint about billing was rectified. Now he is a satisfied customer.
Customers are at the centre of all our activities and the helpline 1218 is entirely focused on customer ease and convenience, providing an all-inclusive support service. In addition, customers can also go to our website www.ptcl.com.pk and PTCLTouch – a mobile application for PTCL customers – and go to platforms like Facebook and Twitter for information and queries. We take this opportunity to reiterate that PTCL is committed to providing best customer support to all its customers.
