Nose chopped off for ‘honour’

RAJANPUR: An accused chopped off the nose of a man for honour and fled the scene here on Sunday. Police said the incident took place in Shikarpur area of Rajanpur where a suspect slit the nose of Tanveer who had contracted love marriage with a relative girl two years back. The culprit escaped from the scene after committing the crime. The injured was rushed to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital. Sadr Police have registered a case against the accused and started conducting raids for his arrest.
